Knauf Soundshield Plus is a high mass gypsum plasterboard designed for partitions, wall linings and ceilings where enhanced levels of sound resistance are required. Its increased density of 920 kg/m³ delivers improved acoustic performance over standard plasterboard, and multiple layers can be used to achieve even greater sound reduction in demanding applications. Reaction to fire rated A2-s1, d0, it also offers excellent fire resistance when used as part of a Knauf system. Compliant to EN520 Types A and D, CE marked and UKCA marked. Not suitable for high humidity areas. Supplied as individual boards, 2400 x 1200 x 12.5mm with tapered edges.
