Knauf Soundshield Plus 15mm is a high mass gypsum plasterboard designed for partitions, wall linings and ceilings where enhanced levels of sound resistance are required. Its increased density of 887 kg/m³ delivers improved acoustic performance over standard plasterboard, and the additional thickness provides greater impact and fire resistance over the 12.5mm variant. Multiple layers can be used to achieve even greater sound reduction in demanding applications. Reaction to fire rated A2-s1, d0 and compliant to EN520 Types A, D, F and I — CE marked and UKCA marked. Not suitable for high humidity areas. Supplied as individual boards, 2400 x 1200 x 15mm with tapered edges.
