50mm Recticel Eurowall® Cavity Insulation Board is a high-performance PIR insulation board designed for partial fill masonry cavity wall applications. The board is fixed against the inner leaf to leave a clear residual cavity, improving the thermal performance of the wall build-up while maintaining the partial fill detail.
Each board measures 1200mm x 450mm with a 50mm thickness. It has a declared thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and a thermal resistance (RD) of 2.25 m²K/W at 50mm. The PIR core is faced on both sides with a gas diffusion tight multilayer foil carrying a low-emissivity grid pattern (ε 0.05), which contributes additional thermal resistance across the clear cavity when installed in a non-ventilated build-up.
Eurowall® Cavity has straight edges on all four sides, allowing boards to be butted closely together during installation. This helps reduce gaps between boards and limit thermal bridging across the insulation layer.
The closed-cell PIR core has low moisture absorption, helping the board retain its thermal performance over time. Eurowall® Cavity should be installed in line with the latest Recticel technical guidance, project specification and relevant building requirements.
