60mm Recticel Eurowall® Partial Fill Cavity Insulation Board 1200mm x 450mm - 8.64m2 per pack
The 60mm Recticel Eurowall® Cavity Insulation Board is a rigid PIR board designed for partial fill insulation of masonry cavity walls. It is fixed against the inner leaf and held off the outer leaf to maintain a clear residual cavity, which manages moisture and prevents water transfer across the wall while the board handles the thermal performance.
At 60mm the board provides a thermal resistance (RD) of 2.70 m²K/W with a declared thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK. The overall cavity needs to be sized to take the board while still leaving the clear residual gap, so the cavity width should be confirmed against the wall design before specifying.
Both faces carry a gas diffusion tight multilayer foil with a low-emissivity grid pattern (ε 0.05). Installed in a non-ventilated cavity, this facing adds further thermal resistance across the residual cavity on top of the board's own value. Straight edges on all four sides let boards butt tightly so joints stay close and thermal bridging through the insulation layer is kept down.
The closed-cell PIR core absorbs little moisture, so the board holds its thermal performance over the life of the wall. It can be cut to size on site with a fine-toothed saw or sharp knife and suits both new build and renovation work. Install in line with the latest Recticel technical guidance, project specification and relevant building requirements.
