75mm Recticel Eurowall® Partial Fill Cavity Insulation Board 1200mm x 450mm - 6.48m2 per pack
The 75mm Recticel Eurowall® Cavity Insulation Board is a rigid PIR board for partial fill insulation of masonry cavity walls. It is fitted between the wall ties as the wall is built and held against the inner leaf with retaining discs at a minimum of three points per board, leaving a clear residual cavity that manages moisture across the wall.
At 75mm the board carries a thermal resistance (RD) of 3.40 m²K/W with a declared thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK. The cavity needs to be wide enough to take the board and still leave the clear residual gap, so the wall build-up should be confirmed before specifying.
Both faces carry a gas diffusion tight multilayer foil with a low-emissivity grid pattern (ε 0.05), which adds thermal resistance across the residual cavity when installed in a non-ventilated build-up. The straight edges on all four sides let boards butt tightly, and joints are staggered in a brick-bond pattern to limit thermal bridging through the insulation layer.
The closed-cell PIR core absorbs little moisture, so the board holds its thermal performance over the life of the wall. Boards can be cut to size on site with a fine-toothed saw or sharp knife, and where a project calls for it a double layer can be installed with the joints offset between layers. The board suits new build and renovation work and should be installed in line with the latest Recticel technical guidance, project specification and relevant building requirements.
Key Benefits of 75mm Eurowall® Cavity:
- Rigid PIR partial fill cavity board with 3.40 m²K/W thermal resistance at 75mm
- Low 0.022 W/mK thermal conductivity for strong performance per millimetre of thickness
- Foil facing on both sides (ε 0.05), adding resistance across the residual cavity in a non-ventilated build-up
- Straight edges on all four sides for close-butted, staggered joints and reduced thermal bridging
- Fixed against the inner leaf with retaining discs, leaving a clear residual cavity to manage moisture
- Closed-cell core with low moisture absorption to maintain long-term performance
- Supplied 12 boards per pack, covering 6.48m²
- Manufactured in the UK to EN 13165:2012 + A2:2016
Recticel Eurowall® Cavity Insulation Board provides a partial fill insulation option for masonry cavity walls where thermal performance, board fit and long-term moisture resistance matter.
