80mm Recticel Eurowall® Partial Fill Cavity Insulation Board 1200mm x 450mm - 6.48m2 per pack
The 80mm Recticel Eurowall® Cavity Insulation Board is a rigid PIR board for partial fill cavity wall insulation in masonry construction. Installed against the inner leaf with a clear residual cavity left to the outer leaf, it carries most of the thermal performance of the wall build-up while the rest of the construction makes up the balance.
At 80mm the board provides a thermal resistance (RD) of 3.60 m²K/W with a declared thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK. The rigid PIR core holds its shape well, giving good dimensional stability so boards stay true and joints stay closed once fixed. As a thicker board, the cavity needs to be wide enough to take it and still leave the clear residual gap, so the wall build-up should be confirmed before specifying.
Both faces carry a gas diffusion tight multilayer foil with a low-emissivity grid pattern (ε 0.05), which adds thermal resistance across the residual cavity in a non-ventilated build-up. The straight edges on all four sides let boards butt closely so gaps and thermal bridging through the insulation layer are kept down.
The closed-cell PIR core absorbs little moisture, so the board holds its thermal performance over the life of the wall. It can be cut to size on site with a fine-toothed saw or sharp knife and suits both new build and renovation work. Install in line with the latest Recticel technical guidance, project specification and relevant building requirements.
Key Benefits of 80mm Eurowall® Cavity:
- Rigid PIR partial fill cavity board with 3.60 m²K/W thermal resistance at 80mm
- Low 0.022 W/mK thermal conductivity for strong performance per millimetre of thickness
- Carries most of the wall build-up's thermal performance in a partial fill detail
- Foil facing on both sides (ε 0.05), adding resistance across the residual cavity in a non-ventilated build-up
- Straight edges on all four sides for close-butted joints and reduced thermal bridging
- Good dimensional stability so boards stay true and joints stay closed
- Closed-cell core with low moisture absorption to maintain long-term performance
- Supplied 12 boards per pack, covering 6.48m²
- Manufactured in the UK to EN 13165:2012 + A2:2016
Recticel Eurowall® Cavity Insulation Board provides a partial fill insulation option for masonry cavity walls where thermal performance, board fit and long-term moisture resistance matter.
