20mm EPS External Wall Insulation is a graphite-enhanced expanded polystyrene (EPS) external wall insulation board, and the slimmest board in the PlusTherm range. At 20mm, it is used mainly for detailing rather than main-field insulation: lining window and door reveals, forming neat returns around openings, and making up small thickness differences within an external wall insulation (EWI) system.
Each board measures 1200mm x 600mm and covers 0.72m², supplied 60 boards to a pack for 43.20m² of coverage. It carries a declared thermal conductivity of 0.030 W/mK, a PlusTherm 70 grade with 70 kPa compressive strength at 10% deformation, and a calculated thermal resistance of 0.65 m²K/W for the 20mm board.
