Siniat GTEC Standard Board is a general purpose plasterboard used across thousands of domestic and commercial projects every year. It goes up on partition walls, wall linings and ceilings, and it does the job reliably and consistently. The board is made from a gypsum core wrapped in recycled paper liners, ivory on the front and grey on the back, and it is designed to be skimmed with a finish coat of gypsum plaster.

This is the 12.5mm square edge version in the 1800 x 900mm sheet size — the 6x3. It is a noticeably lighter and more manageable board than the full 2400 x 1200mm sheet, which makes it a practical choice for smaller rooms, renovation projects or where boards are going up solo. Both long edges are square cut, so there is no taper to contend with. The plaster goes on flat and consistent right across the board and the joint, giving a clean, even surface to work with throughout.

The board achieves a Euroclass A2-s1, d0 fire rating, meaning it has limited combustibility, produces very little smoke and generates no burning droplets in a fire situation. It scores and snaps cleanly without power tools.
