12.5mm Siniat GTEC Standard Wallboard (Tapered Edge) 1800mm x 900mm
Siniat GTEC Standard Board is a general purpose plasterboard used across thousands of domestic and commercial projects every year. It goes up on partition walls, wall linings and ceilings, and it does the job reliably and consistently. The board is made from a gypsum core wrapped in recycled paper liners, ivory on the front and grey on the back, and it can be taped and jointed or skimmed depending on the finish you are after.
This is the 12.5mm tapered edge version in the 1800 x 900mm sheet size — the 6x3 as it is known on site. It is a more manageable board than the full 2400 x 1200mm sheet, which makes it a practical choice for smaller rooms, renovation projects or anywhere boards need to be handled by one person. The tapered edges along the long sides create the recessed channel you need for tape and jointing, allowing you to fill and feather the joint flush with the board face for a smooth finish that disappears under paint.
The board achieves a Euroclass A2-s1, d0 fire rating, meaning it has limited combustibility, produces very little smoke and generates no burning droplets in a fire situation. It scores and snaps cleanly without power tools.
